Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Time. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us things that show us Time.

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Monday Sunset and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them) but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

fotoi, does the distortion in your scene require advanced optical effects, or do you just get low and aim straight up?

John's fireworks and fotoi's tunnel are hard acts to follow. :-( I'd like to execute the week's theme with photos that are good in their own right, but all I've got is ordinary pictures that illustrate a point about time.

Time and food. Sometimes you're told how soon to consume something.

This image was taken with a 360 degree camera, the Xiaomi Mijia Mi Sphere Camera. It takes two 180 degree images and combines them into one 360 degree flat, rectilinear image. Then I use an app on my iPad (RollWorld), to get the final effect shown in the image above. The camera is sold direct from gearbest.com in China for about $245. There is also a U.S. version sold on Amazon called the MadV Adventure Camera. It's the same camera, but orange in color and comes with a few extra accessories for about $310 and is covered by Amazon Prime warranty. I have been experimenting with it and really like the effect it gives. And it shoots 360 degree video as well.

It's a great image, fotoi.
Love the fireworks as well, John.

I hardly ever do bursts, but with the theme in mind I did and put a sequence of consecutive shots together in a composite.
