Man, this would make a nice light setup for interior architecture photography.

A challenge since they are polished metal. Here's the behind the scenes shot sans overhead reflector board. Image hosted by forum (921760) © navydoc [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Depending on the pricing, I think a pair of AD200's might work out better as it gives you some flexibility in terms of changing from a single 400w light to two separate 200w lights as needed. I believe it's $330 which is doable for me. - Alfredo -

If for no other reason than that they have modeling lights which would simplify set up considerably I think. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

I have always very much liked the Chiaroscuro style of lighting (I've posted a few examples on this thread in the past) and that's how these were lit. I have been encouraged by others to develope a personal 'style', and with my current health situation pretty much confining me to 'barracks', this is an ideal style to adopt in a home studio. Googling 'Chiaroscuro' - or Dark Food Photography - will provide numerous much better explanations of the technique than I could manage in a short post, so I hope you don't mind if I refer you to them, sooner than attempting it myself. However, if I can help in any other way, let me know. Thank you. i'm going to look for it for sure. | SONY A7SIII(2) | A73 | A6000 | Sony A7IV | Sigma105 | FE1635F4 | Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 | Tamron 17-28 Tamron 28-75 | FE50F1.8 | Sony 16035F4PZ | SEL30mm F3.5 Macro | Canon 24mm TSE | Laowa 15mm Shift

I seem to be having a love/hate thing going on with the lowly 28-70mm lately. I take some shots which appear rather soft/crap/fuzzy that I'm not happy with & the next I seem to capture something really worthwhile!!! Maybe some testing needed..... Maybe it's sharper at f/7.1 rather than f/11 or something..... I don't think it's filter related as I pretty much only have/had the one set. The only one I solely use on this lens is the Sigma 95mm CPL...... ![]() *** This image just posted, not happy with the results? Looks awesome to me. flickr
