Its strange because I've had them with different colour eyes to this. same if a few other birds I've photographed

Spent a few days around the 4th of July in the Sisters, Oregon area. Here are some photos of the fauna in the area. Hope you like them! All are with the 7D Mark II and either the 500/4 II or the 100-400 II lens.

Today, about 30 minutes from my place. winter is delightful right now, sunny days, a bit chilly in the mornings but who could complain looking at the beach scene

The snake was sunning himself on a gravel road, they are deadly but most times just slide away, I have a healthy respect for our wildlife and never had a problem with them
