Remember it? I regularly use it. I have a few Takumar primes and a couple of Spotmatics. I also dev my own B&W film. That's the danger of threads like this!! :)

Does the OP still post here?

I haven't been on this forum for years, so I was surprised to see this old thread wasn't archived.

Anyway, the word obviously got out about cheap primes as they're not that cheap anymore, plus the advances in camera tech means that they all have live view making MF much easier.

Anyway, I've picked up a few more lenses recently in the shape of Minolta Rokkor lenses. These are very nice, but I've yet to find the time to use them. I have the 28/2.8, 50/1.7 & 135/2.8.

Pics or it didn't happen!

I'm also a huge fan of Minolta lenses, especially the MC (V1 and 2. Mostly 2) series. One recent acquisition was a pristine copy of the 300 4.5 for less than 40 bucks US! But yes, they definitely are no longer as cheap as they once were, especially one of my favorites and hopeful future acquisition, the MC 16 2.8
