Hi, after many years of useing SNS-HDR to try and create a natural look in bracketed and single image files I am finding it compared to the more recent offerings in HDR software to be quite slow and the forum for it seems to becoming like a ghost town, it still IMO gives a great starting point for a natural looking image but with Photomataix, Machinary HDR, Lightroom, Aurora HDR etc,etc just wondering what others are now useing to create a natural looking or near to a natural looking image/s now?
Thanks,
Russ.

I've used Photomatix, Lightroom and SNS-HDR, and SNS is still my favourite, although I haven't done much bracketing and HDR for ages.

I have 4 HDR processors but SNS-HDR 2 is still my favourite for a natural look. Photomatix 6 is better than the previous version but I find that it often creates an over-saturated image.

I tried Aurora. It was okay but no way was I going to fork out $99. for a 5th app!

Hi, Thankyou or replies. Both seem to have the same opinion as myself SNS-HDR is still IMO best for natural output although as I said in the OP I find it is slower than other offerings but as they say "all comes to those who wait:lol:"

Many Thanks,
Russell.

It's a stupendous view but, as the sun was directly behind you, I doubt if HDR was required.

This is only my second or third attempt at trying HDR. I'm using Photomatix 5.0 but still have much to learn with this kind of editing. Here's my latest attempt from a shot I captured at our Independence Day parade.
