Previous thread with this pic was deleted due to politics in the discussion. So no politics plz. This shot as part of my folio got me a stringer position with a local newspaper which I'm enjoying a lot.

I remember the shot but not the politics, only disagreements about what constitutes sexual assault.

Do you want the shot critiqued now?

Mainly I wanted to get this into my Gallery, which I neglected to do the first time I posted it before the thread was deleted. But if you'd like to critique, plz go ahead.

No, thanks. I only wondered whether you were inviting critiques, since that's the usual reason for posting here, despite the many comments this photo got before. I didn't remember that the first thread was deleted.

The seemingly tasteless title alone just lends itself to the discussion found in the other thread, and if this gets deleted, then the gallery image disappears too I believe. I might be wrong however.

If you want to add a photo to your gallery, there is no need for a thread to be created, just go to the gallery thread for the camera you used, and post a reply there, then add to your gallery.

On the critique side.... the image is over exposed in several areas where all detail is lost. Highlights need to be adjusted down significantly.

On the title.... it is also a "baiting" title that from what is shown here doesn't apply at all. I wouldn't have used it for this image. Maybe something later happened.... but this image doesn't represent that at all.

Changed the title to "Stringer folio shoot". You can not put in titles that directly accuse the subject of a crime, even in a newspaper, unless there has been a conviction for that particular incident (even then it is questionable). Photos can show a short moment in time, they do not show what it really was and they do definitely not qualify for a verdict.

Thanks for the critique. I brought the highlights all the way down; but the area around her left head is truly blown. I'll try to mitigate it in Photoshop. If anyone else would like to edit, it's OK with me.

Somehow the name of an old cartoon character "Pepe Le Pew" comes to mind.
For those that are too young to know what I'm referring to, here's a short video of Pepe.
