I killed some time in the wildflower patch out back this morning waiting for the 24mm Samy to arrive.
LOVE the Samy! Perfect companion for the Tamron 28-75mm for a little kit. In fact I've got a Photocross 13
which will hold my a9+400DOii and also the 24mm and 28-75 for a nice all arounder.

Wow !! she's just bathing in it!

Awesome picture!

I saw this before on my phone.. could not see all that detail..

This is why when I get home from work I try to remember to skim over the pages i've already read.. Many pictures here need to be seen big to be truly appreciated

Sorry about the horrendously poor quality of this, but on a routine visit to the hospital today, I came out of a different exit to normal and suddenly spotted this tree in the middle of a road. Just had to take a quick snap. Could that be more inconvenient?!

Finally, last one. Messing with the Tamron 28-75, does ok for this type of situation.

What a catastrophe! My housecleaner accidentally knocked down the shadowbox I had hanging on the wall above my Oriskany model and this was the result. I haven't had the heart to even take a close look at it yet and can only hope the damage isn't as bad as it appears.

The ship was completely knocked off its mount, the island structure has also separated and all the aircraft and vehicles are everywhere. The last items were never glued down so that I could arrange them as I wanted to.

Thanks for the pullback Vinz. Do you have a light stand or tripod shelf for your laptop too or just use the nearest table?

Me too Eddie. The model represents so much time and effort, not to mention expense, to get it to look as close to how it actually looked when I was stationed aboard that my skills would allow.

Plan to get two of them or the AD400? What stands are you using?

You’re welcome. I bought a laptop stand with wheels from amazon.

I’m sorry to hear about your Oriskany Gene. Like Eddie, i’m hoping it’s not
as worst as it looks.

Gonna just do the one for now. I have a shoot this weekend that I needed more than the V860 for. I have two stands from Impact, but will be handholding with the rapidbox too.

It is powerful. If i need more power, i’ll just switch to iso320 and it’s about all i need. AD400 pro is coming soon if you want more power but smaller than the AD600.
