Scott...those are all incredibly nice shots. I especially like the close-up, however I don't ever intend to get that close. :-)

I just got back from Alaska. We took the float plane to Katmai, which was not cheap, but very well worth the money. I took about 300 shots in the hour that we were allowed on the platform.

weather on the katmai coast has been a bit iffy so was able to sneak into Brooks River for a couple days and a day in Lake Clark National Park. Soon the fish will hit the katmai preserve!

1) Lake Clark National Park - one of a couple bears we saw scavenge fish carcasses from the lake
