Whew...I really like this one. It projects a rather dark and daunting image.

The first shot is incredible. Both images are really sharp and nicely done!

Chris...I am sooo jealous of the Kingfisher image. It is really nicely done as is the shot of the green heron. There are a couple of belted kingfishers on the lake that I frequent, but I simply cannot get close enough for any kind of decent shot. :-(

Beautiful shot and with both legs banded!! WOW!! I really like how the egret stands out so nicely from the background.

Lovely. That top one especially is beautifully exposed.

Lovely. If these were mine, I'd definitely print the first.

Beautiful shots, Matt. The first one is so nicely composed. You're really getting good detail with the 1.4 TC on the 500 lense.

High praise, Jack, thank you. I’m keeping an eye out for the Pixma Pro-100 deal that pops up now and again. There’s def a bunch of shots from this year I want to put on paper :)

Thanks, Mike; my 1.4 TC is my problem child, wish it acted more like it’s old 2.0 brother. Jeff’s eraser trick seemed to have helped though, thankfully.
