I'll start off by saying I've never shot a bit of glass I liked more than the 135L, I use to make up excused in shoots so I could use it.

Me too! Magical lens. It was tough letting that one go. Also the 35 f2 IS.

Getting better at this - Fuji Xt-2 - Fuji X-Pro2 - Laowa 9mm - 18-55 - 23/35/50/90 f2 WR - 50-140 - flickr (external link) - www.scottaticephoto.com (external link)

Well you are also getting a 1.4TC along with the F200/2 in the case for our price, it's priced as it was always going to be, more or less IMO, like a 300/2.8 is... You'd have a lot more than 6K for a 1.4/200...

Have you tried your 300/2.8 on the GFX yet?

I need to buy an adapter. Not much info as to which one is the best option. Maybe go with steelsring?

I didn't try my 50-140 for closeup headshots but I would assume at 140mm you wouldn't need the tubes. I am thinking of buying one for use with my 110mm for food shots.

For headshots it’s amazing I actually try not to go past 90ish.

But for real tight macro/beauty the 50-140 doesn’t get close enough. I did a shoot and at 140 it still wasn’t tight enough so I cropped in post but I rather have a dedicated lens.

Hello folks,

This is my second day with the XT2 and XF35 F2.

Also, this is my first time using On1 instead of Lightroom and so far, it seems really nice.

So far it's too soon to tell how this compared to when I used the XT1. I'm still trying to relearn how to use this thing (sooooo many buttons).

Don't know why everybody is in a flap about a high quality 200mm f/2 costing about 6K, sure that's what they all cost.

THe 16-80/4 if it is WR and OIS it will be a killer lens I'd bet and the 33/1 with AF might kick off the Mitakon f/0.95 a little, kinda surprised Fuji didn't opt for the 0.95 f/stop or perhaps they did and decided it was not right, who knows.

8-16 will be in my bag day one, already have a buyer for my 10-24 and now selling my Samyang 12/2 and 8/2.8. 8mm rectilinear at last, Fuji do listen to us  .

I bought some inexpensive ones on amazon you have to get close in, really close in so forget about them just allowing you to get a little bit closer they totally change to focus range, I'll dig up the chart from my files and post it up so you can see the lenses each tube will work on and the distances you'll have.

The 16-80mm has definitely spiked my interest. I'm curious about the 33/1 too, but I doubt I'll dish out for it considering how happy I am with the 35/1.4.

I'm hoping all the people like you will drive the used prices down on the 10-24... I've been eyeing one

Don’t know about that but the Facebook gfx owners group would surely know and give advice on the best one given your lens selection

I would be looking into the Fringer Pro adapter over the Steelsring. Only problem might availability as the Fringer sells out quickly if in
stock ships out of China and arrives in about four days.

Really interesting open air talk about physics in Merrion Square today, loads of making what seamed difficult to understand into simple examples. I could have spend more time there but for the hungry little ones, who enjoyed it to...

Any particular reasons? And where in China if you know. Reason I ask is that I am currently in Shenzhen for work.

The 16-80mm has definitely spiked my interest.

I am about 99% sure I will be selling off my 18-55 for the 16-80 f4. little wider little and longer. the 18-55 is a really nice lens its 2.8 last till about 19.5mm then it goes to 3.5 and quickly to f4 so it wouldnt really be losing much in terms of fstop. Just winder when it will be released and at what price point. I hope its not more then $550
