I am done with bags for now...I have too many, my photo corner in my office is now over flowing with bags and cases and what not! But moreso, I am really happy with the few good ones I have, need to sell off a few.

Not really digging it. I wish my Peak Design backpack opened from the back.

On a 112° day, there's nothing like a bowl of French Vanilla ice cream with chocolate shell poured over it to beat the heat.

It's a bobcat (Lynx rufus). They are pretty much everywhere in the US but yes they are wild here.

When the Alfa shoot got moved into a garage that is more about working on racecars than photoshoots...I was worried...for several reasons. 1... what is the background going to be...2...I have never shot like this...

And I can say that #1, the backgrounds were bad, but it let me highlight the car....#2...well, for having never blended a car image shooting strobe, I am not unhappy with how the first ever one came out...with a little practice I could really enjoy this, develop a better workflow...what is it they say...fake it till you make it...this is a blend of 5 different frames. The 85 GM was a great FL, no WA distortion and color rendering.

REAL icecream!
Poof makes us zero carb icecream. You'd probably taste it once compared to that deliciousness.
ALSO 10 star sig!!

Some kinda good news on the hawks. The juvenile is so far sticking around post the death of his mother.
I saw both juve and the father today. The juve sitting on my hawk tower, the father flew by in the distance.
We've watched the parents drive off fledges for 4 years now. Maybe it takes both to get rid of the fledglings?
Still nice to have at least the two here.

Thanks. I should have been more ambitious and followed the valleys and crests of the chocolate...but my name isn't long enough.

I do recall as a child real ice cream made from scratch and turned by hand in an ice cream maker using rock salt in the ice to make it colder. :p (tongue out drooling over the memories :-) )

Great news about the hawks btw.

All great shots of your beautiful kids. I wonder what lenses were used?

Nicely done travis. Good use of light to separate the car from the background
