no, its the overhead skylight...the CPL cut it down to what you see...but that old vintage glass doesn't react the same as modern car windows. It was better than all the high bay lights...and it showed a bit of the curvature of the glass...

It's a bobcat (Lynx rufus). They are pretty much everywhere in the US but yes they are wild here.

Haha! Duh...Of course! I floated by one on the river the other day! Not sure what I was thinking when I posted. I guess I’ve never had that great of a look at on. The one on the river the other day was pretty small and sitting watching us go by. Thx!

so much awesome in that set...you will cherish those images in a few years...tonight my wife and I were looking back at pictures from a couple years ago...and it was so fun to look back...my wife doesn't remember a lot of it due to her illnesses, and it also made me realize I need to do more at home...

GAS has me zeroed in on the 16-35GM....... hopefully before year end.


Aghh Ive been so good.

I tested some new techniques to blend, color correct, and sharpen this image of the jury room from the Karnes County Courthouse. I'll run the process through a few more images and will report back on what worked and what didn't.

Note: The client wanted to keep the signage. The table is a bit dark but when I raised the exposure, it looked out of sync with the rest of the image.

I thought about one but am saving the shekels I have for the a7000 and 200-600 when
they get announced (if ever).
Lately I've even toyed with the idea of the 400/2.8 but I'm putting almost exactly the same
amount into the ground (new well up at the cabin and the drillers are proud of their machine).

Thank you, and yeah i was really happy with that as well

I am also not sure if i got a dust spot on my sensor or not looking at those, i have to look at later images where i stopped my lenses down and see if thats still there or if its just a weird coincidence, most everything i shot after those was at f/1.8-2.8 where it wouldnt show
