Thanks Tom
These were taken in Newfoundland last week and I live in Michigan . Me and my wife flew to St. John's international air port rented a car and spent the next ten day driving and hiking looking for wildlife . We drove over 2,400 miles and hiking 42 miles thru National parks . We did a couple of whale watching trips seen a lot of Puffins and other sea birds . We didn't see lots of wildlife in the National Parks but when I was leaving we did see a family of five Otters . One of the best things about the trip it wasn't crowded at all some of the hikes we had the trails all to ourselves .

The layered background makes this one remarkable.

Thanks Oh. You have a great eye. I didn’t really notice the layering till you brought to my attention.ߘ

I wondered what crops were those pests (farmers view of them) invading and munching up.
Is that what it all is? Cropping? Grain?

Yes, these deer are feeding in grain fields. There has been an over abundance of deer the last few years, and the farmers arn’t particularly happy with them lounging and feeding in their fields.
