FM forums has a thread on Sony A7 series cameras and weddings and it encouraged me to dig deep into my files to see what images I have to share.

These were taken back in 2015 when I during my first wedding with the A7s and 28-70 lens. I'm still wondering if I should keep it or sell it.

It's a basic kit lens, but it can get some good shots. I'm not saying my shots are great, but I've been happy with some I got out of this basic lens.

Not my favourite lens by far....... But I still find it more than adequate for lightweight, hiking, landscape use :)

From a TV pilot I did background stills on. It's a new kind of photography for me, and indoors it definitely needs primes I'm discovering. But this lens got a few keepers here and there.

For unit stills, while cameras are rolling, silence is mandatory, 100%. That's why I switched from Canon to the A7iii.

Thanks. It's definitely a challenging kind of photography because you have to use available light at all times (unless you can get the actors to yourself for a few minutes, which is never guaranteed).

On big productions they always plan dedicated photo shoots and use an entire team of photographers, but on small productions it's a one-man show.

I have all the time in the world to learn, however, as I have a great day job and get a lot of time off here and there.

Unit stills is more a hobby that I want to develop into a second career.
