Apparently the last post I had considered posting here as it was still stored by POTN. My boys last year in front of Grandfather Mtn, NC, USA.

That's a nice lens you have hanging off that 100D; but I think you may have a focus issue. It it dirty or foggy? Have you focus-checked it?

Regarding the pose, there's weeds growing out of the tops of their heads -- generally a no-no in a portrait. Next time check the background and shuffle the kids if necessary.

Stuff around people's heads is something that bugs me, and I didn't even notice it. Blame it on being a happy dad. I'll 'shop it out.

SL1/100D is my back up/travel/kids' camera, rarely does it see my 70/200. I think this is just over compressed or too small but will check original, thanks.

Oh, if either of us had moved to my left, we would have fallen off a cliff! I beleive the trail is called Flat Rock. Great place to watch the sunset.
