A storm was trying to come into Phoenix tonight but quickly faded. With some luck I was able to get out briefly and capture this image with lightning to the left of Camelback Mountain.

Saw this barred owl on an evening walk at around 8pm. Had to crank up the ISO to 12,800 to get a reasonable shutter speed. 5D4 handled it like a champ.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Very nice shot. I can't believe how well that image came out after shooting at ISO 12,800. That's really incredible.

Yeah, the noise is visible at 1:1, but is almost invisible at normal viewing conditions.

moon eclipse from this morning, wanted to get more shots including the moon setting over one of the mountains at where i was but could not as the fog got way too thick to see anything

i have the worst luck when it comes to shooting moon (last few super moon/eclipse/ISS passing through moon all were ruined by expected bad weather, this one almost as well)

You really did a great job showing the phases of the red moon eclipse. Very nicely done.
