European goldfinch

Very nice indeed. European Goldfinch against dark green bokeh: always a winner!

Final Gang Gang Cockatoo photo for now - until I find some more of these beauties.

This is what happens when your crest is too wet and heavy to stand up.... the 'comb over' look.

I'm just in awe of the shots that people here get with extenders and this is a prime example. I'm humbled (yet again).

That's delightful.
I note it's feet look different. Does it retract its talons?
Beautiful photo

Richard...he is not retracting his talons. He's actually making sort of a fist and his talons don't show...just like when we make a fist and our finger tips are hidden.

LD, or Mike
Often mistaken, but never in doubt.

I didn't always shoot with my extender, mostly because if would cause my camera to be unbalanced when using my Blackrapid strap but it worked just fine when I did.

This one is sweet! My eye is instantly drawn to the Chipping Sparrow, and the colors all work together beautifully.

That shot is first-rate Sidknee. The composition is kept simple, but very appealing, and it goes without saying that the bird is a colorful beauty.

Thanks Mike and Jack, your comments are always appreciated :)
