Taken from the train on the White Pass and Yukon Route railroad. Just stunning scenery up there!

Must be a very scenic rail trip,.
Your comments certainly backed up by that photo. Lovely

Just a simple hike, to a simple lake. Since it was a relatively easy going hike, and the weather was actually cool for once, I brought along my 11-year-old cavalier king charles spaniel, Mason. :-D For being his age, he did outstandingly well for hiking over 6 miles. Sure, he napped hard afterwards, but his tail was wagging the whole time, and he was mostly a few feet ahead of me during our trek. I just love that little smile on his face...

Zaanse Schans at sunset. I visited this quaint village near Amsterdam recently. A nearby cocoa processing plant makes the area smell of chocolate and to top it all off you get to see views like this.

Beautiful light, and setting. All pleasing to the eye.
Chocolate aroma would have been interesting.

A thick mist that fell upon a mountain turned Moorish castle into a solitude fortress at the edge of the world.
