At first I tried super glue but that didn't work.

It wasn't a cheap fix, but I called Fuji and bought replacement rubber grips. it was like $30, but replacement was a piece of cake.

Was it $30 for each piece of rubber, or for all of them?

I think* it was only for one half of the camera. They sell them in sets. Right side and left side. My side that was peeling was the grip side. I'm pretty sure I mentioned it in this thread some time ago. I'll have to do some digging.

An x100 or X-T20 is on my short as a back up/ travel camera. The 20 just feels so small in my hands.

My next purchase needs to be a light bag with wheels, my lighting gear is growing and becoming cumbersome to tote around.

I've not felt a need for anything other than the 35mm focal length on my X100T for over 2 years now, here's a couple I took yesterday evening just after sunset.

Asked my second to get a few shots of me working, he soon learnt to stop telling me he was about to shoot. Photographers with silly poses are not only par for the course at weddings but obligatory...

This original paint 1965 European beetle has taken been a bit of an adrenaline rush. Low 4 second 0-60MPH and 11.90's in the 1/4 mile (all day long).

This was a daily fairweather driver for years. I had other cars just sitting at home but I took this to work often.

Now she sit's in my garage with my other 1967 beetle with collectors plates. Life is too busy for my car hobby. One of these days I'll get back into the groove.......

lol. Should have done something like you having the camera turned around pointed at you or some other outrageous photo blunder.

So with me being in IT, everyone assumes I'd have some elaborate home network, or a slew of computer systems all running doing something amazing...

nope.. You work with that stuff all day, it's the last thing you want to be greeted with... at least for me anyway.

Simple wireless router. My Asus laptop, and a custom-built desktop (that recently died). Eventually maybe I'll get a macbook... maybe.

Did some upgrading this weekend.

As far as a local backup, I just had a simple USB external hard drive (2TB). I also use an online backup, Crash Plan.

I finally got a 4 bay NAS. Nothing spectacular. Just something a bit more robust than a single USB drive to back up to.

Also.. I am no programmer.... My IT specialization is networking. My poor blog, for years has plagued me. I hated how it looked, etc. I finally updated it as well. In doing so... I realize I'm posting photos of things I mostly shot a few years ago or more.. I really need to get out shooting more lol.

But family time takes precedence. Taking the family to Maryland this weekend. Going to check out the Aquarium, as well as take the two kiddos to Medieval Times for dinner.
