Looks like the bracts of Mussaenda erythrophylla, or maybe M. philippica (so technically not a flower), but I'd have thought Tassie would be too cold for mussaendas.


Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

I don't have a clue what that (flower) is. When I first looked through your photos and saw that you were from Tasmania, I thought well that explains why they are so exotic. I usually know my flowers. But
I am at a loss on your flowers 3,4,5,6,7. They are beautiful. Great Job. Sounds like you had a wonderful time. The Hawaiian islands are magical. I love visiting there. Thanks for sharing.
