I think the new 150-600 siggy has better IQ than the 50-500. I did notice that the 150-600 had bit if vignetting at 600mm. 100-400 Mk2 is nice lens but I didn't test with 1.4 TC

The S or the C of the 150-600? . I shoot on7dMii/7D so dont normally notice vignetting.

I'm looking at also renting a 150-600 C for a winter yellowstone trip in Jan for a second body. My girlfriend and I finally decided to stump up the dollars for a semi private (4people) week long photography tour of yellowstone in winter :-P:-P:-P:-P:-P.

Hey Scott, good thing you have a camera eh?

Gives you sumpin' to do when wandering around Sydney in the sunrise :-D

NIce shots, great contrast!

Mine does not show the huge dynamic range of the ever so humble Panasonic! :p

Mountain at 16000 ft …….. and the sunset

I did a bit more looking around this time. Found a waterfall and a set of rapids. Went to the end of the tongorio crossing gravel road but that was a waste of time for a spot.
Bit frustrated in the trip but that's landscape photography.

No 2 for me also. Very nice indeed. I like the way you organised the clouds to lead your eye in! ;-)a

LOL, the only break I got. Clouds cleared about 30min after sunset.

Its a different world down there and different challenges.

Asked the boss for more relocation jobs so I get down there more :)
