I'm getting ready to head out to Glacier National Park in two weeks. Soooo EXCITED!! I have a Canon 6DMii and a 24-105L f4.
I'm going to rent a lens as I can't afford one. I have the lower end covered well enough with my 24-105, but wondering about a longer lens.. Hoping to get some wildlife shots. Maybe the 70-200? 100-400? A prime 300 or 400?? Going to be hiking quite a bit so nothing too heavy.
Thoughts on what lens I should use? I've also been told Tamron lenses are great lenses as well. Just a shade under the "L" lenses. The are about half the cost to rent as well, which is fairly attractive.
Any advice is welcome and actually WANTED!! Right now I'm leaning towards the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 or maybe the Canon Prime 300 f2.8. UGH..too many choices.
