Astam is a small village in the foothills of the Annapurna Himalayas. The place is the popular short trek destination from Pokhara. In the picture is Annapurna South and Huinchuli. The place is also a starting point of Annapurna base camp trek and a trek to Mardi Himal base camp.

Mount Hood was barely visible from Trillium Lake as a result of the haze created by wild fires across the Pacific Northwest. I had to be right up underneath it to get a photo.

Ramona Falls, Oregon - I've been wanting to tick this waterfall off my list for a few years but I have been hesitant due to the lack of bridge when crossing the Sandy River, turned out to be worth it!
