Interesting that they have evolved slightly differently, in that your American Snout has more white on the upperside and will sit with its wings open, whereas the Nettle Tree does not - well, of the hundreds we saw in Greece this year, puddling, not one had their wings open while at rest, unfortunately.

A few years ago, assassin bugs killed the only one I found. FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
