XD They get their name from the "kill deer" cry they make...constantly...at all hours of the night. We have them in a field behind where we live and most birds are quiet throughout the night...not these guys lol.

Yeah, that would be tough. But their call sounds like "killdeer, killdeer..." Probably just empty bragging.
