Never tried it but it is an interesting idea though. I'm an old guy and my hearing is shot. Unless a bird song or call if pretty loud I can't hear it. I wouldn't know what I was recording or even if I was recording anything.  :p

a nuthatch came by yesterday while I was playing with the M5 on the big lens, it did OK

I think recording some of the stuff around here would be interesting, birds, beavers, wolves, Martens .... Might be fun.. add to a slide show or movie

Ummm Matt I had 10 or 12 Jays around all morning.. Dont know what I would do without them.
