That's why I'm seriously considering switching to Nikon. The D500 has 4k video capabilities and doesn't cost $4-5k like the 1DX Mark II. Why doesn't Canon offer 4k video on any of it's lower tier DSLR bodies, I'll never understand it. The D500 paired with the 200-500mm f/5.6 would be a serious wildlife combo.

Might be headed toward that combo too if Sony doesn't give up a new crop sensor body modeled after the a9.
