While waiting on the Aurora to appear last night I took 10 images of the Milky Way over Downhill castle Northern Ireland and stacked them, this is the result. The red glow in the photo is from wind turbines on the Coleraine - Limavady mountain road.

Beautiful!!!
There's something about the sunflowers and Milky Way combo, they blend in so well, just like peanut butters and jelly :)

Finally spent a big part of the night out last weekend. It's so good to be out at night!
It was the first time I tried a small pano, using four images (shot in landscape orientation). I really like the result, so I may try this more often in the future.

Why is blue the dominant color of most Milky Way nightscapes? Shouldn't it show more red and green?

Why would it be red and green? Around 4000 kelvin is accepted as close to reality I think which is why many shoot or edit to that WB

Tracked and stacked I believe only 3 images? And then a single foreground exposure
