You are figuring out what some of us already know. Regan is a ninja of film photography. A master.

NIce!!! I told you kid.. awesome shot!

I have a portrait session coming .. going to do portion of it with my pentax k1000/ ilford hp5 400..
thinking soon to transition my portraits to film, MF (maybe a pentax or mamiya 67). something magical about film.
no way is it as sharp as my sony a7r3 ,, nor does it have the highlight and shadow recovery .. but it has such an organic look that I personally cant reproduce in digital

I got a couple of Cameras and lenses ...

Not sure if this is allowed so if not, I'll delete it. Just wanted to share a short video I made while shooting BW medium format film in an abandoned high school I visited a few days ago.

Sad that an institution can be abandoned and neglected like that but truly amazing backdrop for some epic photos.

Wish I had more time for this photography thing....

I agree. There are so many abandoned schools in and around Chicago and Gary.

I don't shoot Kodak Ektar 100 very often but I'm definitely going to order more of it before I go on vacation. I am starting to love it.

I haven't heard great things about TheDarkroom.com. I've seen multiple accounts of people complaining that their scans were covered in dust and scratches but sadily they're as cheap as it gets for B&W. I love The FIND Lab for color, but the cheapest option for black and white is $23 which is a bummer. Luckily I have a local lab that does develop only for black and white and I scan it myself which keeps costs down.

yeah I probably won't use them again for my "work" .. I may try again with more random/personl film ..

but any future portraits will be sent to a place I used before in the city .. it cost more but I was really satisfied with results

..
more from the above series
