Super sharp and very accurate focus. It was my main wedding lens before I switched to the ART version. There are some minor scratches on the hood but otherwise in perfect condition. I will upload pictures of the actual lens soon. Will come with everything in the box. Asking for $450 shipped and paypaled.

Just curious how much difference you really notice between the two versions.

You'll notice two things. The weight is massive difference and the IQ is massive difference.

...sorry to sneak in here and ruin your sale ad.

Could you and the OP elaborate? I loved my old copy of the non-art and thinking about getting another because I can't afford the Canon 85 f/1.4 IS and I'm not thrilled with the 1.8.

The Art is massively more heavy. The Art is massively more sharp all the way to the edge. The non art is very sharp in the center and really good in midrange but the corners soften up a bit. This is wide open. At F2+ I'm willing to bet there is a hard difference to notice between them. I shot the non art for some 15k images and currently own the art and the sony GM. I have experience.

For $450 this lens is an absolute steal. The lens AF quickly, it's silent and the feel, weight is really well balanced. I should of never sold mine... the art is just so big and heavy it makes you really not wanna use it much.

I doubt this lens will last long at all at this price.

Thanks for the feedback, I apologize if this thread went astray but I doubt the OP minds the traffic. It's better than typing in Bump over and over. I own the Art version and wondered if it's worth the extra $$$. Yes this seems like a great deal for this lens. GLWS...

The non-Art is the first serious lens I bought, and almost the only lens I've ever owned and never sold a copy of. No-doubt the Art is better, but it is like a TV set. I shoot my 85 at 1.4 all the time, and get that lovely 3D effect. I agree with Talley, its a lot of lens for $450. I doubt anyone would be disappointed.
