I would still like to be able to add our own esoteric camera/lens options to a posted image.
Failing that, I think we need a FILM category for...
Nikon F & FTn
50mm f/1.4 Nikkor
105mm f/2.5 Nikkor
I could go on with Bronica, Hasselblad, Century Graphic,... but we can always add them inside the post. Of course, then we'd have to lie & pick something else to get them in the gallery. ; )

FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
Classic Carz, Racing, Air Show, Flowers.
Find the light... A few Car Lighting Tips, and MOVE YOUR FEET!
Have you thought about making your own book? // Need an exposure crutch?
New Image Size Limits: Image must not exceed 1600 pixels on any side.

I agree, especially considering my stable of MF lenses. Lately I've been putting bogus lenses in to add images to my gallery.

Still missing. :)

As models, you probably need to add (just as a start):

TT350 (-C/-N/-F/-O/-S)
TT600
TT685 (-C/-N/-F/-O/-S)
V350 (-C/-N/-F/-O/-S)
V850II
V860II (-C/-N/-F/-O/-S)
AD200
AD360
AD360 II
AD400 Pro
AD600M/AD600
AD600 Pro

And the X1T and XPro transmitters (also in the -C/-N/-F/-O/-S flavors).

I have no idea how you might handle the Flashpoint/Cheetah/Pixapro/Neewer rebranding of said models, but if there's a way for us add rebrand names as we find them, that would be awesome. It's like trying to track down Samyang model rebrands, only worse.

Would love to have a "Generic USB CMOS Camera" option or similar. Lots of us use CMOS sensors that are not fixed in a portable body like a dSLR or mirrorless, but rather, are wired to a system via USB. It's the defacto in astrophotography. There are hordes to list, but it would be great to at least have a generic CMOS and generic CCD option to differentiate and not be forced to put false metadata in just to add to a gallery.

Very best,

How about a Kodak digital camera category? There were a lot of different models. A list of them can be found on this wiki page (external link) although I don't know how complete it is!

I added a new lens to my gear list but it won't appear automatically when I post an image. The camera does. Any solution?

It might be a good idea to allow the addition of cameras and lenses by the individual owner as opposed to waiting for the administration to add them. This would decrease the administrative workload yet allow the user to show a more complete picture of their gear.
