I went out today to picture the Blue and green dragon/Damsele flies.
Here's the result - they would not settle - I caught them in flight
Oh well! Further practice required.

Those are nice sharp images Ray. It just goes to show what a great job the 100-400 with a 1.4 TC will do.

Those are both nice shots. It's been so many years since I've run across a badger. They can become rather grumpy at times.

Thank you, yes badgers can be pretty grumpy. It’s funny the coyotes won’t touch them.

Thanks for comment Mike/LD. Thanks to everyone else who gave me a Like for my latest pics.
This lens is certainly versatile - I wish all my lenses were as good. Being a compulsive tweaker I cannot prevent myself running the Raw results through the Photoshop mill for sharpening though.

I am posting one of my shipping pics for comment. It is made up of 6 shots automatically stitched in PS CS6.
I do not stitch all the shots in one go - I usually stitch 2 shots together at a time and then add another to the result. It works well for me - although it is easy to drop a section in the wrong place.

Can we now add 'Wide Angle' to this lens's capabilities?
Also - I should have removed the 1.4x MkIII extender but it seems to have become part of fixtures for this lens now on my 7DII.

Those individual six shots are stitched together beautifully, Ray. What a cool looking picture. That's a one a biga boat!

Thanks. I waited for 2 years to come back to this spot. We organized my wife's family visit a month earlier because we came early October last year and all the Osprey left. Gotta have priorities. Wildlife #1, Outlaws #2 :-)
