Almost got wet here.... lol Western Sandpiper... Was crazy... a small group of them came very close, and then all decided to have a nap. Perhaps 6-8 feet away from me. Most of the shots were not great because of too many in the frame..... this is the best solitary I got.

Tilapia are a big problem here but the biggest worry is they've found peacock bass in some waterways up north. They could devastate a native fishery if unchecked.

We have both. The peacock bass were introduced by the state to control the tilapia!

As much as I love getting eye level for shots like this...I absolutely hate sand...it gets everywhere.
