Hope everyone is well and enjoying their photography and time outdoors. With my baby daughter taking up most of my time anymore, birding has naturally taken a back seat. I try to keep tabs on this thread even though I’m not posting, and there’s just so much good work to keep up with in here, wish I could comment on everyone’s stuff!!! Anyways, I just wanted to say that you all are awesome and inspiring, and to please keep the photos coming :)

It's been a while since I've made any photos that I've been happy with. Start of fall migration will hopefully help me break out of my funk..first bird I see on my walk today happens to be the first hawk I've encountered in months. A hawk is always a good sign!

Not garbage, Jeff. I've picked up a lot of good information and interesting stuff from you.

Have to agree, Pondrader has forgotten more than I'll know about woodlore.

“Mr. Grumpy”. That’s funny. Pretty much describes his facial expression. Nice shot Sid. :-)

This is the only young Dove in the yard this year. Four adults and they managed one offspring.

Every morning right now the sun hits the lake and the Loons take to the wing... They circle around calling the entire time.

So I just had to go find a shot and process it. I dont know how many thousands of images I have of them airing out their wings. Just thought this on was kinda cool.
