Thanks ... just stating the obvious.

Have you worked for companies following strict iso standards??

Management and work ethics is key.

Arguing with you gets so tedious so quickly.

I’m stating I have first hand experience with excellent to mediocre QC when working in a high tech R&D / manufacturing company.

Now I get it, you have first hand experience in QC. That changes my perspective.....especially about the "beating a dead horse" part.

To everyone else, sorry for the journey off topic from Fuji photography, I'll end it here.

Canon, Canon......definitely....definitely faster, Canon, definitely Canon....definitely faster.

Whoops, sorry. I guess the "demeaning" part still stands, also. Now I'm done.

Iso certification is a gruelling process for certification. Policing is continuous and must document everything and continuously updating. I was on a team updating the documented procedures. This does not include individual employees following the standards.

Since the xt20 is currently being assembled in China I’m assuming the XT3 should be a seamless addition.

Here we go again. This is so completely old and truly disappointing to see a new post in this thread and it's this again.

Can we split this into a image thread and a debate thread or something?

Ugh! :cry::rolleyes:

Very best,

Very best,

To be fair, it is a forum... generally discussion/debates are welcome in forums ;)

so I was lingering around on youtube while I am at work.

caught a new video by Tony and Chelsea... Normally it seems like they crap hard on Fuji, but their newest video on the XT-3 they were actually giving it praise. But of course they didn't have a copy to play around with, so it's only a matter of time...

and speaking of youtube... how come I never heard of the Ladies Football League until now?!?!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Not from what I have seen, they mention Fuji in a lot of their videos that are not directly about Fuji and always state they like it... They did find the first iteration of the X-T1 ruff but have praised it after it's many firmware updates... I find Tony to be hard but fair, unlike some YouTubers like Fro...

Speaking of X-T1, been thinking of picking up another one to have a toss around low cost body... Thinking now of picking up a X-Pro1, I never shot with a digital rangefinder and thought it would be fun to try... They pretty comparable from a feature set?

I think people have mentioned the x-pro 1 was a bit rough with autofocus. You might be better off with another XT-1.

My XT-1 is sitting on the shelf, less than 3,900 clicks... I really should decide if I want to sell it or not lol.

I would be pairing it with vintage and manual glass, just want another body that I can push the risk factor on...

The specs of the XT-3 look nice, but I don't think I would be using any of the features like faster eye autofocus, etc. I shoot my son's soccer games, but I'm not looking for eye focus, and the X-Pro 2 and XH-1 perform well enough. Even the XT-1 was fine a far as focus speeds for soccer and I was using the 56mm f/1.2 at the time.

If I sell my XT-1, I'd probably put the funds toward an XT-2. What is the used market for XT-1 nowadays? $400?

Caved and ordered an X-T3 and grip today. I mainly shoot portraits, but that eye AF, -3 EV low light focusing and full AF point coverage won me over. The faster speed might also come in handy for the 100-400. I will probably keep the X-T2 for a second body.

the good thing about this for you is only needing to wait 2 weeks for it.. I hate when they announce a camera 4-6 weeks before release.. I find it to be torture
