Some States in the USA do have Doubles, and some have Triples. vast majority is Singles as shared above. But never Quads or anything as heavy as I've seen in this thread, with some extreme exception to move a house a few miles.

Our Height Restriction is 13 foot 6 inches, or 4.1148 Meters. What Height Restriction does Australia have?

I'm not sure about Australian states but in the Northern Territory height is generally limited to 4.3 metres (14 foot 1 inch), although multideck cattle and car carriers can be up to 4.6 metres (15 foot 1 inch). Road train length is limited to 53.5 metres (175 foot 6 inches).

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

One from the Territory. Triple cattle transport crossing the tiny bridge at the lower Finniss River crossing south-west of Darwin. And yes, my camera needed a good clean after these shots.

I love that front end view.

I've got a beefy guard across the front of my pick-up, but the screened snorkels and screen across the lower half of the windscreen is AWESOME!!! (Wondering what the State of Minnesota would say if I decked out my rig like that)

You guys have the most amazing rigs down under!!!

Thanks! The colour of the snorkel screens gives you an idea of the road conditions in much of the Territory, and of course windscreen repairers do a roaring trade.

Not much chance to pass these guys. The white van at the back is an escort, to stop ppl trying to sneak thru. There is another escort up the front & sometimes, they'll call you thru, on a blind bend, that gets a bit scary!

Just as Pippen said, this has the whole box & Dice in it, https://www.mainroads.wa.gov.au …499r_2n_D11%5E2392304.PDF (external link)

What it doesn't mention is a new category PBS, Performance Based Standards. Where is if you can prove via engineers a safety / efficiency gain they will allow slightly more.

It truly is a shame more us states don't recognize the B-train configuration with 2 or more trailers like canada. far more stable than the wiggle wagons that are A-trains. Easier to back up too.
