This portrait, the model, and no less, the photography are just lovely. Outstanding!

Maybe a little bit more negative space to her right (camera left) would make it marginally better, but maybe too it's just my own preference, she looks a little crowded on her right side by the margin. Consider too the brightness of her left shoulder. These are only "nits". I can only dream to make a portrait this fine.

I shot this as part of an ongoing experiment using Face Detection of the Canon 6D Mark-2 in Live View with Dual Pixel CMOS AF. My lens was the EF 85mm f/1.8 wide open.

I also experimented using a relatively high ISO of 2,000 with noise reduction in NIK DFINE.

I think that the image is very usable at ISO 2,000 and that the Face Detect nailed focus on his eyes...

I really like how this turned out. my first real photos of people. Usually i photograph planes trains and automobiles.
