Thank you Talley. It’s one sharp lens for sure. This one was processed in DXO PhotoLab and finished in PS CC with a few Nik Color Efex filters.

Thank you! :-)

Y’all will probably get sick of my shots from this area. I have a few more compositions left to edit.

Great composition Alfredo. I assume you're no longer in that area? I understand the weather will be turning a bit nasty over the next few days.

Stay safe my friends.

Thanks Gene. I returned home a week ago. We’ve had nothing but rain here lately.

15 shot stack in Sequator.

the only thing I can think that makes it quite light behind the rock is a a couple of stars that were right behind it.

I think there would be a place for it for some people. I like crop bodies for wildlife shooting, but don’t care for a6*** series ergonomics.

Totally agree....The a6500 is hands down the least fun camera I've ever used. I pretty much hate using it. But...it's what I have.

This is true. If the AF wasn't very accurate or if the files weren't as awesome I'd have ditched it long ago and prolly tried an X-T2.

We'll see if Sony comes up with something interesting for APS-c. Then it'll be a matter of do I want to drop the $. I've not been too into spending money on photog gear past couple years.

Great captures Mickey, the porpoise surprised me scrolling down!

I suppose it didn't fit with the family event theme of the other two pics, but big blue made me smile.

That porpoise was from Marineland, on the very south end of St. Augustine Beach. I wish we would have had more time there, but I hope to go back in the next few years.

Like most smaller facilities of this nature, Marineland takes in injured sea creatures and fixes them up. This turtle, for example, had his brain split by a boat prop years back. He's mostly blind because of it.

While I don't go into the Disney World parks all that often (we'll do a year-pass when it makes sense in the future), I do take the kids to Disney property about every six months. On this particular day, we rode length of the monorail after a visit to Disney Springs. The kids didn't mistake it for the parks, but it was free and they had a good time :)

After listening to Phil Demers on Joe Rogan I couldn’t go to marineland. Worth a listen if you haven’t heard it
