Very nice shots, with interesting poses.

Thanks. I waited for 2 years to come back to this spot. We organized my wife's family visit a month earlier because we came early October last year and all the Osprey left. Gotta have priorities. Wildlife #1, Outlaws #2 :-)

Nice and sharp. Did you crop these?

Thanks, yes I cropped(certainly the square one :p). Both are about half of the original. Distance is(I guess) 4-5 meters but even than 560mm is not enough to fill the frame with small birds.

Good morning all.
At the risk of being a bore - I am posting a picture I took two days ago of Aylesford Bridge the county of Kent. UK.
It is made up of about 20 images taken with the 100-400mm f4-5.6L IS MkII and stitched in Photoshop.

I have converted it to greyscale and will be posting it on the B/W pics thread.

Are you planning to print it as a mural? Sadly hard to appreciate the detail on a web posting. :(

Fantastic shot!

It's so rare to get a bird to fly in your direction!

Thanks. I practise on a lot of seagulls and these are far and few in between.

Fake shot, only Nikon cameras have AF that can shoot BIF this good (according to Art Morris and other pros who switched)

 :p

In all seriousness, this is a stunner of a photo, couldn't ask for better.

Thanks. I'm at the seagull pond every week keeping the rust off for when this opportunity arises. I have posted many.
