Time to let the trusty old 24-105 go to make room in the cabinet for the new 24-70. Great lens that has never given me any trouble. I paid around $1000 for it back in about 2010. Front element drops down gently when the camera is carried face down. There are a few of the normal specs of dust inside but, as usual, don't effect images. The red ring broke in 2 places, no idea how. I put a dot of super glue on each break to keep it in. I've been using the lens for a year or so since then. Includes retail box and all that. I did upgrade it to a pinch cap as well. Date code UY.

Asking $375 including USPS Priority shipping and PayPal fees.

The front element is not scratched as shown in the bottom left picture. I think that's a hair or smudge.

It is a good price. I just paid the same for the one I bought.
