A Magic Arm with a Super Clamp on one end to mount to your walker and a threaded mount on the other end for the video head

Thanks That's pretty close to what I was thinking as well. The shape of my particular walker will impose a certain amount of creativity on how...and where to mount things since none of the bracing tubes are round.

Thank you Lee and Eddie. It’s a concept I had in mind for a while. My goal was to emphasize the light. I hope I can continue to refine this style when the light is right. Inspiration is from an IG photographer I follow and admire named mindz.eye.

I follow him too, solid work

Man, you really made the most of your time here...makes me feel so lazy lately...I went out to shoot for a bit last Saturday...and outside of that have not done anything other than portraits lately...and have another this weekend for a friend whose family dog is declining in health rapidly...they want to get a family session done with him while they can...

Thanks Travis. Yeah I tend to go crazy to get the most out of the business trip. Next year may be different because I will be in the lead role for the annual project so it will be more stressful. Good luck on the portraits. I have an architectural shoot on Saturday for a client to shoot 2 medical buildings. Other than that, client photo opportunities have dried up lately.

Never tried the "sticky Sticks " method, I read somewhere that they are prone to leaving some residue on the sensor surface, not sure if that's true or not but I never tried them. My usual sensir cleaning steps usually involve:

1:Camera clean mode

and/or

2:Rocket Blower

3:Finally a wet clean as a last resort for really stubbon dust.

After my experience yesterday I purchased some Eclipse solution and a new set of swabs, two passes cleaned all the gunk off of the sensor. Sometimes it better to just stick with what you know works.

I've used the blue gel sticks (very sticky) on my Canon bodies and the red gel stick (less sticky - made for Sony, Leica, Olympus, etc) on my mirrorless bodies for a few years now and I've never seen any residue left on the sensor. Of course, I very lightly put it on the sensor, then lift it off. I don't press down at all, and its just worked beautifully in my experience and is MUCH less work than wet cleaning. I can see if someone was using force to press down with the gel on the sensor (probably not smart, especially with an IBIS camera) then maybe it could leave some sort of streak. I can also see if you used the wrong (blue) stick on a mirrorless camera that it might cause an issue. Then again, wet cleaning can leave streaks too... nothing is perfect, and some methods work better for some than others.

Lovely! We went city shooting last weekend at Bath. Need to go for a hike this weekend really, have a look around and judge how the colours are starting to turn.

DSLR has the mirror in front of the sensor.

but that doesnt mean much.

for whatever reasons, im sure there are technical mechanics of why, but as a general use, the recent nikon bodies since D600 has a bad reputation of oil splats.

here's a funny video but I do not agree what Chris says about the spits are limited. It's there and Ive had to clean my d800 several times versus when I had canon I didnt have the need to clean.

This Columbus Italian dry salame is one of my favorites. The earlier photo I posted with cheese and crackers was Gallo salame.

Some DSLRs (at least my 5D3) have that mechanic curtain in between of mirror and sensor, just like EOS R. So it's not about the mirror.

I get nostalgic about the a7R from time-to-time. Even with the adapted 24ZA on it, still portable enough...

TBH, for the price they are going for now--used--it is tempting to pick one up as a travel/landscape body.
