taken about half way between Wichita and Topeka Kansas, still too much light pollution.

avondale87 thanks for whoever started this More info | Sep 15, 2018 03:35 | #4247 mccamli wrote in post #18706713 This was taken near the Pinnacles desert in Western Australia. It's a multi row panorama taken with an EOS 6D and Sigma's 18-35mm f/1.8 Art crop lens at 35mm. Awesome photo. Really nice indeed.

I'm planning a trip to Custer next year; how was the hike to your shooting location? I'll have the family with me, but am hoping to sneak away for a some astro sessions. Rocking the R6 and (mostly) the 24-105 f4 L, 50mm f1.8 STM, and EF 135mm f2 L along with a few others.

I'll have the family with me, but am hoping to sneak away for a some astro sessions. It wasn't too crazy. You'll want both hands free on the hike back down, so make sure you have a head lamp. You'll have to scramble up a few rocks on the way up, so just take it slow in the dark on the way back down. Nikon D850/FE and Fuji X-T2
