I don't own a cat but there are enough in the neighborhood which makes it seem like I do. A handful has taken a liking to our patio furniture and make a regular stop for a nap. This one was letting me know he knew I was there and ultimately, there was nothing I could do about it.

I enjoy this thread. I went back to the beginning (January 2006) and got to thinking about how many of those cats are now gone, but also thought about all the joy and laughter they brought while they were here. Our cat showed up at our house in 2009. She was a teeny little thing and we weren't even sure she had been weaned.

Is there anyone posting today who also posted at the beginning, whether it's the same cat or not?

The original thread started in 2006. I don't know exactly when I joint but it wasn' t with the girls I have now.
