This an ICE composite of 4 images from the top of Mauna Kea. This was about a week after Hurricane Lane. Luckily they were able to get the summit road reopened a couple of days before I went up. The lasers are from the Keck Observatories for their adaptive optics.

Canon 6D
f/4 3200ISO 20 seconds
Rokinon 24mm

Cool. Sucked to hear about East Island.

I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

When we went in July, I also went up to Mauna Loa, No one up there. Good asphalt road but narrow it ends at 11,000'
Very nice with the lasers, I looked every night to see if they were using them but nope.

Kevin Goto
I prefer Pachelbels lesser known work, Canon in L and the 99 cent menu club.
