I haven't been posting much. Wildlife has been hard to come by. That and a lot of rain. I'd be really willing to share that with some of the places that need it if I could.
Anyway, a couple of pictures from my visit to Alberta. He is sitting on a pile of dirt that is the result of construction near by. That was it, he just sat and watched and waited. No BIF here. Can I get an ID please.

Ya thats what I'm saying too Derek. The 7DII was a great allrounder. They need to give the people what they want.

I find people completely open to change right now. of course there will always be the people that wish to stay with what they have

but photography is on the edge of a big change. some will want to continue doing what they are doing... others want the forward motion.

I'm ready to be one thats getting the stills for the wall and the motion to caption your mind. If you guys could be with me standing neck deep in

tall marsh with the moose or chancing Pine Marten I'm sure you would get a kick out of it in motion.

Well not so fast mike. Sony’s new cameras have something called super 35. It crops the full sensor to a crop. 1.5 Can’t remember exactly. They also do 4K very well to boot. It looks like canon is not interested in one camera doing it all but rather a few cameras complementing one another. But of course they all have a price tag on their head.

no way Im going to sony after seeing the crap colours from a friends, plus I do have some nice lenses that I dont want to give up and use with an adapter

Well yes.. There is no one answer that covers everyone. I have spent so much time this last year on this question. I have high hopes they will still build our 7DIII with all the bells and whistles... But I have a gut feeling that said other wise. So ... what is the answer. its different for everyone. I love a crop.. would like to have a full frame sensor but im sure I would miss the reach.

I'm not sure of the colour problems you have seen but I have seen zero colour issues with the sonys. Theres a few cameras I dont get exactly what Im liking but thats what LR and PS are for. From what I'm reading and seeing the adapters are about seamless and not to be confused with the days of old. Truth is they all have something we don't like... even the ones we do like.

I've tried to keep an open mind as i figure out where i should go between now and the next big wildlife camera from Canon. used a lot of camera's...

I've gone the last year with a camera I could not adjust correctly.. that was just nuts. Not ever doing that again. I'm going to put a limit on how long I keep my cameras from now on.

I need a big bucket that money falls into regularly the has written on it.. Camera Fund..KEEP OUT.... keep it somewhere the grand kids cant find it.

Britain...very nice bathing series, but in this case I believe it is a Cooper's hawk, and not a red-shouldered hawk.
