I'm sure some of you saw that Affinity Photo for iOS on iPad Pro was demoed yesterday during WWDC and it's introductory price of $19.99 ($29.99) after, seems very intriguing. I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to use it on an iPad Pro yet with Apple Pencil.

The Affinity Photo is pretty awesome. Now the app is again available for iPad pro and its working perfectly on my side.

Get the free version of app from Tutuapp (external link).

I'm back to thinking about buying this again. Did anyone jump on this for iPad Pro? If so please tell me your experience.

I have this on my 2018 iPad 9.7 (non pro) with pencil and it works fine processing the 20mp files from my 6D. A tiny amount of waiting involved in applying unsharp mask and a few other filters, but overall it works very well.

I also have the Win10 version on my laptop, which I like. I'm waiting for a DAM from them, then I'll be Adobe-free and happy !

Gary.

I think you will be waiting for several more paid upgrades before you see the DAM implemented. With every paid release thought they will promise that you will get the DAM with this one, so upgrade now while it's cheap!

I'll take that if they continue pricing the way they are now. And as long as it remains completely stand alone. I work offshore and do a lot of PP while off shift. Bandwidth is near non-existent so staying with Adobe is becoming a no-go.

Yeah, this pisses me off a bit. If I pay for a year at a time, why do you need to check in every few months?

Ok, I'm over it :)

C&C always welcomed...

It's on sale for $13.99 for a few days; so I snapped it up today and will be trying it out further. Initial playing around with it seems fairly good though.
