Not To Be Taken Lightly......

Now, as if everything else wasn’t bad enough, we find out that beer isn’t good for us?


Beer contains female hormones!Yes, that's right, FEMALE hormones!


Last month, Montreal University scientists released the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer.


( A ) The theory is that Beer contains female hormones (hops contain Phytoestrogens) and that by drinking enough beer, men turn into women.
( B ) To test the theory, 100 men each drank 8 large drafts of beer within a one (1) hour period.
( C ) It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects, yes, 100% of all these men:


1) Argued -over nothing.
2) Refused -to apologize when obviously wrong.
3) Gained -weight.
4) Talked - excessively without making sense.
5) Became -overly emotional
6) Couldn't - drive.
7) Failed -to think rationally, and
8) Had -to sit down while urinating.

No further testing was considered necessary!!

Last time I heard that joke, it was a German university

No comparison group consisting of female subjects was included in the experimental design, as women are too sensible to drink eight large beers within one hour.

A true comparison group would be 100 men of age, social background and health similar to the test group, who did not imbibe the said quantity of beer within the test period.

All I can say is that all my female friends find the joke very funny. Perhaps they are confident women who are not that easily offended.

Perhaps your friends find the joke funny because it makes good points about the shameful state that men get themselves into by drinking too much.

Our perhaps those confident women have learned to fake appreciation as one way of not getting crosswise with males who are in positions of power over them.

It's been changing for a while now and one fine day the power balance between male and female will be close enough to balance that category of joke will raise no questions. Until then, this spouse of an accomplished wife, father of an accomplished daughter and mentor to female professions who had to endure heaps of garbage to survive has a fine pair of rabbit years for denigration even in the form of humor.
