Now I'm curious. Both you and Robert spell birds "bierds". Is this some local spelling or colloquialism that I'm unaware of?

Just curious. Inquiring minds and all that. ;-)a

ive always wanted to know that! Even googled it at one point and came up with nothing

I would flip the camera vertical, get a nodal rail and start simple.

The way I see it, baby steps first, single rows can give you a lot of detail.

I have a nodal rail and a pano Arca clamp but recently my favourite panos have all been handheld in portrait mode with the loxia 21

Specs for the new Sigma lenses have leaked. (external link)

Pretty disappointed at the weight of that 40mm f/1.4, it's huge. I guess if I do want a native option, the 35mm Art will be my best option until a Sony 35mm f/1.8 or f/2 comes out...

Lightweight and small can't be used in the same sentence as Sigma, unless you are talking opposites :po

These are releasing for Canon and Nikon mounts too so it seems they were designed more to them rather than all 3 mounts.

I think if we want to see light weight third party lenses for E mounts, Tamron would be more likely to do so than Sigma.

I thought the 35 Art was heavy at 600g but these make it look like a paperweight :-P

Sigma is coming out with an E mount 56/1.4. I'll likely pick that one up.

Flew into the Selway/Bitterroot last weekend with a couple friends. They are backcountry pilots and owners of this plane. It's an annual trip that has become quite the tradition. Wonderful fly fishing. I stopped counting at 100!

Sooo. Think a Mavic 2 pro might be on the cards. Was never really interested in drones until this one came out. Can’t stop watching YouTube videos about it. The worrying thing is that the wife is on board so it’s hard to resist now

I had the Fuji 56mm when I dabbled in there for a short while so if it's anything like that..... ;)
