Very nice, sharp image Jerry, and their color is really beautiful.

Beautifully photographed, Bob. I've always thought they are very pretty birds.

Wonderful close-up shot of the Harli, Mike. They are definitely one of our prettiest North American ducks. Nice work.

Thanks Jack, botjh extenders are new to me, traded my sigma 1.4 and a couple of other bits, and now I'm not sure that the canon 1.4 is even as good let alone better. Spent yesterday morning trying to get it dialled in but not really happy with it at this point!
I use the noise reduction built into the software I use, I'm a linux user on the pc so Darktable is my software of choice. I don't think I've come across anyone else on this forum who also uses it. Seems fine to me for free.

Thanks for that. It seems to do a good job.

Canon 7D2 · 50 f/1.8 · 17-55 f/2.8 IS · 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS STM · 100 f/2.8 Macro · 100-400 L IS II
Picture editing is OK. CC always welcome.

Thanks Mike. Thinking of moving the bath into full sun so I'll get better settings.

I dunno Kevin...The lighting looks mighty good the way you have the bath set up now. Your shots look quite good to me.

Thanks very much Mike. This guy was all by himself on the beach. I didn't see any others around.
