Not sure if this little guy is supposed to look like this or if there are parts missing. To me it looks like something is missing. Look where is wings attach. Looks like his mechanic forgot to replace the access cover.

I agree with you. I'm reluctant to switch because I'd have to learn a new camera. That takes time.

In the back of my mind I'm also thinking, is my photography really going to improve if I switch to Sony or Nikon? The answer is, probably not much.

Me too

I guess that last one I posted isn't missing anything. This one is from a different area ( a few miles away) and he looks the same.

I did a search of DF images and I didn't see one that looked like that but I'm insectologist. Must have flapped it's wings to hard :-) Something may have taken a chunk out of it.

I love it, DP!! I see that someone's been teaching him photography. He just temporarily got confused on which end of the camera to look through. ;-)a :-D I do it myself sometimes.

Im lucky that while I recover surgery I can be wheeled out into my yard and be guaranteed at least 7 different species of bird will be there :-) Took these today, first one is same bird, two shots combined.

Those are both very lovely shots. I'm envious...maybe I should get a wheelchair. :p
